Valentin'e's Day at AlWadi

We ate at Al-Wadi today for a late lunch. Ok so here is the food review part of this post. If you are in or around the D/FW area then this is relevant. If not, carry on. In short food: awesome, service: abysmal. AlWadi is a Lebanese/Middle Eastern food joint. I'm vegetarian so there is a limited amount of stuff I can eat. This place has alot to offer. I got the veggie sampler and Kendall got the gyro. Great stuff. Problem is the waitress was consistently oblivious to if we needed anything (like to order). It wouldn't have been such a big deal but it was colder than a dead dude's ball bag in there. If it would have been a bit warmer we could have chilled for a minute and enjoyed each others company. Instead we just kind of huddled together and hoped the large couple that came in after us would warm the place up (they didn't). Like I've said before (not here but I have said it) It's amazing what I will endure for delicious food. I could only look forward to going to the mall to Sephora and then browse some Victoria's Secret and jewelry places. No luck, we couldn't find a parking spot so we skipped and it moved on to the comic book store. I was already disgruntled so I needed to hear a bunch of mouth breathers discussing Green Lantern to set me right. I was muttering under my breath well who didn't see THAT one coming. Well we did score the mighty boosh DVDs and that DID set me right.
