Poor Yo-Fe was dead when we got there. It wasn't that chilly but I guess people aren't in the mood for frozen anything just yet.
The food decent but overpriced. I had the salad and medium berry trifle parfait and my partner in crime had the turkey on croissant.
The girl had to fumble around a bit to get me a dressing as some weren't labeled so I opted for a mystery dressing just for kicks. It was a balsamic vinaigrette I believe. Good enough. The salad has too much iceberg lettuce for my taste and could have used some of the red peppers and olives they had on the make table. I should have asked. My cohort seemed to like the sandwich well enough. The parfait was perfect with a good balance of berries, yogurt and locally made granola (delightful!) but I wish the yogurt was a bit more tart.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Clean and mod. A strange selection of items for sale but some winners as well. I was excited to see coconut water and rice dream ice cream available. the make you own soda machines looked promising too. I was unclear on the stationary and what have you but maybe a relative makes it or something, who knows.
Yogolait will still be my go to for fro-yo cravings. I prefer the self serve model and the pay per weight is pretty cool. They have great tart which is the only one I ever touch. That being said Yo-Fe is a fine alternative if you are in the area and if you are in Ft. Worth I suspect you will be since the 7th area is hugely up and coming.
